Sorten Muld - Bonden og Elverpigen
There lived a man just south of the river
Who had everything he could wish for
Of sons he had four and of daughters two
and my life is full of longing
There lived a girl by the rivers swift current
Such a beauty was seldom seen
During the night she crept into the mans dreams
and my life is full of longing
By the early morning he had to see her
But the current was too strong
and his steed slipped and fell
and my life is full of longing
There lived a man just south of the river
He had everything he could wish for
No one ever saw the man nor the Elf-girl again
and my life is full of longing
